The Toscana Catalana – Visual Dreaming
This can certainly be a very rich experience if you choose the right place.
Catalonia is a region in Spain with quite a privileged location. Touching both the Mediterranean sea and the Pyrenees on the northern area, this spot has everything to offer no matter what kind of travel taste you have. Even on a cold winter day, you can easily have breakfast on a cozy log cabin and say farewell to the day over a cocktail at a pleasant beach in any spot of the beautiful and diverse Costa Brava. Probably compared to the beauty and richness of Tuscany in Italy, better known by almost everyone. Why not give a chance to a different taste and sight? A new one on the map and knowledge of many people…
Welcome to The Toscana Catalana!
I had a very pleasant experience on last February, when I was invited to meet a group of people while visiting and enjoying some luxury villas in the area, by Charming Villas Catalonia. The result? See for yourselves!
Don’t hesitate to dream while watching these images and even better, feel free to fly there as soon as you can!
First Stop: Mas Tallaferro
A local and down-townish place with the comfort of design and the cuteness of a medieval town. Offers quite a few interesting options for entertainment, including museums, galleries, sights and historical spots.
Second Stop: Can Grau
The coziest and most beautiful macia, just the pure catalan way. With lovely bedrooms and plenty of space, this country home can really make you fall in love with life in a tender way. My favorite!
Third Stop: Can Sargantana
Both cozy and majestic, a huge countryside home with all amenities imagined.
And don’t miss the nature and landscape around…get lost into the sunset on this passionate relaxing countryside!
Have you been somewhere around or seen something like these? Give yourself a treat, go visit the catalan countryside…as beautiful and rich as the well known italian tuscany.
Welcome to The Toscana Catalana!

What an incredible experience you must have had in Catalonia…how I wanted to go with all of you. I too am in love with Can Grau!! So rustic, charming and elegant. What atmosphere! Thanks so much for this wonderful post and stunning photography!!!
Gorgeous! The last 2 look so wonderful…would love to stay there one day!
Wow, you stayed in some beautiful places!
They were indeed outstanding places, totally recommended. Thanks on your comment Brock! ;)
Sold! You’ve got me wanting to get on a plane for Catalonia immediately. I’d gladly stay in any of those places, but Can Sargantana would be especially nice, I think.
